Question:
How many have successfully had the two procedures done at the same time?

More to the point, how much did your insurance cover? I'm pretty sure I have an inciscional hernia which I'll discuss with my dr at my 6 mo post-op visit on 29 Sep. If I am correct, I would like to time the repair in a few months to coincide with a tummy tuck. Is it likely that my insurance will pick up the tab for all but the surgeon to perform the tummy tuck? Was the recovery for either (and both) harder than the WLS or about the same? Any info you can share would be appreciated.    — Lucky B. (posted on September 18, 2000)
