Question:
Does anyone know of a Doctor in the Dallas area that has perform a Revisions?

Hello to all! I need a Doctor in the Dallas area that does revison. I am three years post-op this month and I am so disappointed with my weight lost. I stared out at 367lbs and I lost 147lbs. I now weight 220 pounds and have not been able to lost in a year. I have been following the rules but for some reason unknown to me I could never reach my short term goal of being on the hundred side. My Long term goal wt is 140. I exercise and I eat right but nothing has happen. I have been having problems with upper stomach pain sometimes when I eat and drink to the point out vomiting.My surgeon is no longer in the city. Hang in there, I am not sure if you are doing something wrong most lilely not but here goes some sugesstion simple carbs make you throw up and make your tummy hurt bad. Talk to a gastro Doc. Your pouch may be irritated and need something like prilosec or prevecit. I am having the 2nd upper G.I. to check for constriction in my new belly. This can be caused by inflamation. I will knwow soon. The prevecit is helping, I have only been on it for two days. Also ulcers could be the culprit. You are blessed. Terri E.

Rita, this sounda like you are in a full case of what we call the platoue, with the upper stomach pain you need to find a doctor that can help you, I live in the Killeen Texas area moved here from Junction City Kansas area, I was fortunate enough to find a doctor within the military to push things in order for the care and after care thar was much needed after my surgery, There are a lot Doctors that will not touch this case due to all the after effects but do not give up on this be very pushy if you have to this is serious and you have to make the doctors understand you delimas, I wish you well and a speedy recovery from you slow process and I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Word of encouragement Do not worry about the things you can't fix keep in mind that time will heal everything even the serch for that right Doctor that can and will do all he/she can to get things right with you. Nita, I have seen others that have had revisions with Dr. Glenn Ihde in the Arlington/Dallas area. He is listed on this site, maybe you can give him a call and discuss your sitation. Good Luck, you are in my prayers. Dana

I had my surgery done a month ago by an incredible surgeon Dr David Kim at North Hills Hospital which is on the East side of ft Worth You can see his web site from my profile and the after care and follow up which is so critical to long term success is a great program I highly reccomend that you at least contact him as an option I hope this helps

Dr. Dana Reiss in San Antonio performed my revision, but Dr. Dirk Rodriguez up in your area also does revisions, I've been told. Also, Dr. Hugh Babineau (sp?) in the Tyler area is an experienced revision surgeon. Good Luck, Jackie

Dr. McCarty at Baylor Weight Loss Center is the BEST in the Dallas area. If you research you will find all of his MAJOR accomplishments. If you no longer have access to your orginal Dr. I would call Baylor Weight Loss and set up an appointment. You will be glad you did! I had surgery 4 months ago and have had ZERO problems. Best thing I ever did for myself! Good luck!
