One of my favorite things to eat from around that time post op was fat free
refried beans with some cheddar cheese melted on top. Yum!

at that point I was on a "full" liquid diet, IE. SF pudding, SF
Jello, protein shakes, carnation instant breakfast, milk, cream of wheat(I
cooked it in milk for extra protein.) cream soups (with the chunks strained
out) lite & fit creamy Dannon yogurt, One of my favorites was to get
wonton soup from the chinese place and just drink the broth from it. It
passes quickly. Go slow and keep the long term in sight! congtrats on your
surgery and new chance!

I made tuna w/ mayo and hard boiled eggs and ran them through the food
processor. I liked that for about a week. I also liked chili w/o beans
with cheese on top. I lived on eggs and tuna for the first two weeks.
(I'm almost 4 weeks out and starting to transition to regular food)

You could have some cheddar cheese soup. You could also have thin mashed
potatoes with gravy and baby food meat added. Sugarfree fat free yogurt is
also a good choice. Hope this helps. Mona

Lite N Fit Yogurts, Ricotta Cheese with Sauce, Refried Beans and CHEESE,
Cheese and anything soft is always a good choice for me. AppleSauce with
Cottage Cheese and Ground Flax Seed was one of my favorites during this
time. Fruit and Nutty taste!
