Yeap - it has to do with the fact that you are taking in less calories and
your metabolism is lower all the way around.

I was prescribed Trazadone about 10 months after i had WLS to help with
sleeeping and I took just one pill and I hated the side effects that it
caused me to have. I awoke with a migraine the next day that lasted ALL
day. I have been able to tolerate a low does of Ambien to help with my
sleeping problems when I need it. Try the Atarx and see how you feel. And
why did your doctor switch you from Trazadone to begin with, if you don't
mind me asking.

I have not yet had WLS, but am also taking Trazadone at this time. When I
was pregnant, my OB switched me to Ambien which worked out fine for me
during my pregnancy, but did require me to sleep AT LEAST 8 hours or I was
dopey the next day. I had to switch back to Trazadone once I had the baby
and no longer had 8 hours to devote to sleep. Just something to keep in
mind. I have never heard of Atarx so I can't really give feadback on that.
Hope you can get things worked out.
