Question:
Can we take antiinflamatory meds?
I'm having problems with my left shoulder. I went to my PCP and she is sending me for exrays on thursday. I was wondering if there are any anti-inflamatory (sp) meds out there that we can take on a short term basis? I will certainly call my surgeon and ask him, but I cannot get in touch with him until thursday morning. I just wanted to know if anyone knows if it's possible to take them, or will I have to suffer through. Thanks again. LapRNY 5/15/03 — KellyJeanB (posted on November 9, 2004)

HI THERE,
ON MY WEBSITE, http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/ChristianWLSJourney/,
THERE IS A DATABASE WITH THE DRUGS THAT THE POUCH CAN AND CAN'T HANDLE. I
STRAINED MY SHOULDER MUSCLES LIFTING WEIGHTS, AND I TOOK ARNICA MONTANA,
AND THIS WORKED WONDERFULLY. IT IS HOMEOPATHIC AND IT CAN BE FOUND AT THE
VITAMINE SHOPPE OR HEALTH FOOD STORES.
GOOD LUCK & GOD BLESS,
LORIANN

I had a shoulder problem about a year ago and my doctor sent me for a
course of physical therapy. Worked very, very well and I didn't have to
risk something that might hurt my pouch. Might be worth a shot.
