Question:
Is anyone taking mircette- birth control?

I am a little over 6 months post op. My ob-gyn has prescribed mircette (oral birth control pills). Is anyone else taking this? I was on this about 2 years ago and had little to no side effects then. Since I was already obese, I didn't attribute any weight gain to the pill. My ob-gyn and surgeon both feel okay with me taking it. Ob-gyn is satisfied that since it is a hormonal medication, it will desolve in my intestine and not my stomach. This is a very low dosage pill- as in side effects. I used to take this pill about 4 years ago, until I got pregnant! That's right pregnant. I took it for about a year before this happened, and it could have been because I was overweight and they say the pills are less effective when you are overweight. I actually took the pill until I was 8 weeks pregnant, went in for what I thought was the flu, and ta-da, You're Pregnant. Anyways, no otherside effects.
