Question:
Hi everyone. I was never a big fan of milk before surgery. However, now when I make

my protein shakes, I like to mix the powder with 1% milk and a banana or some sort of fruit. First question, is it okay to use 1% milk (about 1/2 - 1 cup)? I use milk when I have a protein drink - it is just fine. As for the fruit, I can't imagine why it would be a problem - maybe others have a different answer?

For some people the added sugar in the milk and fruit can make them dump.

I think that if it helps you getthe protein in, why not?
