Question:
Can we take Hydrococone Bitartrate and Acetaminophen
I have some pain pills and that is what they are its my back that is hurting bad and i was just wondering if i could take these pain pills for it after having WLS — wildbrat (posted on October 5, 2003)

That is what I was sent home on from the hospital. Worked wonderful!

Not in pill form but my Dr gave me the liquid form. And its just as potent.

That is what they wanted to send me home from the hospital with too, but
hydrocodone won't work for me so I got something a little stronger.

This combination has a variety of brand names....Vicodin is one, Anexsia,
etc. I have taken them with various surgeries including WLS and PS and
have had no problems.

Yes! This is also known as Vicodin and this is what my surgeon prescribed
for me for pain after my WLS. Iam also taking them now because Iam
currently passing a kidney stone. As far as pain pills go the only types
of pain pills that my surgeon told me to absolutely not take again are
NSAIDS (Motrin, Vioxx, Naprosyn, Celebrex, Anaprox, etc). Only thing is,
you will probably have to break up the pill to take it cause we RNYites
arent allowed to take anything bigger than an M&M. Hope this helps!
