Question:
I was wondering if it can be done at the same time?

I haven't even had surgery, but I am such a planner. I was wondering if I could have a hysterectomy (if approved by dr.) and a bladder tack and full tummy tuck at the same time. I know my ob/gyn has done surgery in conjunction with the plastic surgeon I would want to use. Would this help share the cost of anesthisia. I haven't asked, but am wondering about the quotes that are given here for TT's include the hospital bill, or is that just the surgeon's fee. If it is only the surgeons fee, how much would everything be together?    — D. K. (posted on September 29, 2003)

I am scheduled for a abdominoplasty next Friday. I was first going to have a hysterectomy and that done at the same time, because I have such problems with iron levels. But the plastic surgeon and my gyn wouldn't do the two combined because of the extent of the abdominoplasty and the bleeding situation. I was going to go ahead and have the hysterectomy at the same time, so I would only have to go through one more surgery, but now I'm going to look into other alternatives to stop the bleeding (ablation) My TT alone is $6,200, that includes all of the anesthesia and hospital costs.
