Question:
Can we drink Diet Snapple?
I was wondering if RNY patients were allowed to drink diet snapple? If not do you recommend any other low calorie sugar free sweeteners that are ready to drink unlike Crystal light or Sugar free hawaiian punch which has to be prepared? I want something easy and fast that I can grab on the go...thanks for the input. — krism2003 (posted on July 10, 2003)

I drink diet Snapple. I have found Snapple Apple and CranRaspberry. I do
not like the Tea flavors. I also drink Propel, Fruit 2 O, Sugar Free
Kool-aid, Sugar Free Country Time Lemonade, Crystal Light, ........ My
favorite summer treat is to take ice and chop it (we bought a slushie
machine) and then add a little juice to it. Yum it is like a snowcone.

That is basically all I drink. My favorites are the diet Cran-Ras and
Orange Carrot. I also drink Fruit 2O and lots of Crystal Light. For some
reason I am onl now able to drink plain water. I am 3 months and 1 week
post op, and water has just started to taset normal to me. lol

Diet Snapple was recommened by my nutritionist at my first meeting with
her. I am not a fan of it but I am glad I can drink it since I love iced
tea. I am going to ask her if I can drink Diet Nestea iced tea since I like
that better than Diet Snapple

I drink diet peach Snapple every day. Regarding Crystal Lite, it also
comes pre-made in 12oz.plastic bottles. They are sold in packs of 4, my
favorite is the red rassberry. I use the Crystal lite at night- no
caffine.

If I could only drink one type of drink for the rest of my life, it would
be Snapple's Diet Peach Tea. It is the best.

I live on Diet Snapple. Also, I know that preparing drinks is a pain, but
I make Crystal Light as well as unsweetened Kool-Aid and sweeten it with
Splenda. I then pour it into my old water bottles. Then I have more
variety in my "drinks to go". Hope this helps.
