Question:
Seeking Women With Stretch Marks Above and Below Navel Who have Had Tummy Tucks
I just turned 34 and am 5 monthspost op. I've gone from 268 to 179 in 5 months and wonder if women who've had stretch marks above and below their navel have had succussful TT's? — E M. (posted on May 19, 2003)

I just had a TT three weeks ago today. I didn't really have a lot of
"hanging skin". I did have bad stretch marks that went from the
pubic bone just about to my breasts as a result of four pregnancies. After
the gastric bypass the stretch marks got even a more "wrinkled"
appearance. The TT came out great, I even bought my first bikini on
Sunday. I do still have a couple of stretch marks, however, they are low
and stretched so much that you can barely see them. I will post pics soon.

I had a LOT of stretch marks below my belly button and about 10 above the
belly button. After my tt, I only have the 10 above my belly button. The
rest were cut off when they did the tt. It looks MUCH better then before.
Stretch marks don't interfere with the tt at all.

First I will say that I am not an AVON representative so I will not profit
in any way from what I am about to say. I have not had a tummy tuck but I
did have some really bad stretch marks on my upper arms, belly and thighs.
I have been using AVON Skin-So-Soft Firming Body Wash for the past 2 weeks
and I have noticed a BIG difference in my stretch marks. The ones on my
belly have become really small (they were wide and shiny before). My arms
are less marked also. The body wash sells for about 6.oo for 8 oz. They
also sell Re-Fine Stretch Mark Smoother lotioion ( I have not tried it).
I hope that you will find this information as useful as I have and again I
will not profit from this little mini commercial.
