Question:
Does anyone know if fitday.com has a version for palm pilots, pda's, etc?
It would be alot easier for me if I could find fitday or something very similar for my PDA. Anyone know of anything that's good at keeping track of the same stuff like fitday does? — Peggy D. (posted on May 7, 2003)

I use Ultimate Calorie Meter on my Palm.
http://ultimatecaloriemeter.tripod.com/UCMII/ It allows you to track
calories, fat, carbs, protein, WATER intake, keeps a daily record, 7 day
average, 28 day average, graph weight, track exercise. You can use the
many food items already programmed in or add new foods based on the
nutritional labeling on food packages. Costs about 20.00, downloadable
from website as a trial before you buy, and has a substantial instruction
book that you download as well. I have been very happy with it, and
support seem to be pretty good as well. Sue

Peggy- calorieking, the website I use instead of Fitday has something
similar like this. You can download it onto your palm for $19.95 I believe.
Here is the website:

http://www.calorieking.com/handheld/ckmobplus.php

I don't have a palm, but use their website all the time.
WWW.CALORIEKING.COM has an extensive database of foods including almost any
restaurant you can think of! I love using it, so maybe this could help you,
too.

I use calorieking for my palm. I love it, but of course there's always
room for improvement.
For instance 1) exercise (if you add it in) subtracts the energy used from
your calorie count, 2) the graphics really aren't good enough to see a
trend, 3) you can't really see your trends/patterns of caloric intake per
day/week, etc. you must manually look back at each day.
If you find something better, let us know!! Good luck.

Peggy,
I use Diet Power, you can find it by going to this web site
www.dietpower.com
I acutally find this tracker allot easier and more personal, "Made
just for me" It has a 15 day trial period, but the software is
awesome, and worth every penny afterwards...
