Question:
Is anyone post-op using Suzanne Somers' Somersweet sweetner?

Does it react like sugar in the body? (dumping etc.) Are you ever able to eat sugar again?    — angel C. (posted on April 20, 2003)

I haven't used the Somersweet, but I've been curious about it too. As for eating regular sugar ever again.....there are some who it doesn't bother, but I wouldn't even risk trying to find out if you tolerate it, you'd just be setting yourself up for failure. I made a cake with german chocolate frosting yesterday using Splenda and turbinado sugar and it was absolutely scrumptious!
