Question:
Does anyone use a product called Emer'gen-C post-op?

I am a big fan of the vitamin drink, Emer'gen-C (which is made by Alacer Corp). It is dissolved into water and is loaded with vitamin C, potassium and B vitamins. I wondered if anyone uses this as part of their supplement program post-op without any ill effects? (I don't think there is any added sugar). I am scheduled for lap RNY 4-23-03. I use the lemon-lime without any ill effects and I am out 5 weeks.

You can get this product at Trader Joe's (it's cheaper there, about $9 for a box of about 30 packets) but if Trader Joe's is not in your area, you can get them at any health food store, usually. I have also heard that Wal Mart has been known to carry them but hear they sell out quite frequently.
