Question:
Could anyone tell me how our insurances will pay for our excess skin to be removed?
I am nearing the time I will be the size I want to be and am thinking of getting plastic surgery in the future to remove excess skin on tummy arms and legs. Could anyone that has had any or all of these surgeries tell me what are the problems you have to have with this excess skin to have your insurance pay for them? I do hope that I can get them sometime in the future. Does anyone also know if Medicare and or Medicaid will pay for this to be done? Thanks for your answers in advance. — tatterpuddin (posted on March 6, 2003)

rashes for a start...There is a few web sites out there which go into more
details of problems that could occur that would count as problems caused by
the excess skin. I would look in the library for Plastic surgery and check
out some of the suggested web sites from other members. Good Luck!
