Question:
Any post-ops out there same body type and success?
I am 5'10 and 365 lbs, also 22 years old. I was wondering if there are any post ops who were about the same starting point and what thier success has been. Also, did you require plastic surgery once you had lost the weight? Thank you so much for responses! — Kylie E. (posted on January 27, 2003)

I AM 5'9" STARTING WEIGHT OF 345. I AM NOW DOWN TO 290 2 MONTHS OUT! I
AM HOPE I WON'T NEED PLASTIC SURGERY..I AM GETTING ALL THE WATER, PROTEIN
AND EXCERCISE POSSIBLE, I KNOW IT REALLY DEPENDS ON YOUR SKIN TYPE AND IT'S
ELASTICITY... AGE IS ALSO A BIG FACTOR...I'M 25 WE SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM
WITH SAGGING SKIN... BUT YOU NEVER KNOW!

I had WLS 2/28/01 starting at 409/ 5'10" at 34 yrs old
size 30/32. I now weigh 195 and am in a size 12 and still
losing @ 3-4 per month, I just keep increasing the water and
exercise each month. Everything toned perfect except the
lower abdomin and I had a tummytuck 11/02. I am more than
pleased with the outcome of the entire experience, it is a
different life.

Hi, I am 5'10.5" tall and started at 326#. I had surgery 04-26-01 and
lost 181# in 10 months. I am currently in a size 6. I am 41 years old and
my skin is pretty good, no real excess. I have a bit of a pouch which my
PS calls a "mild" deformity. Since I am somewhat vain I have
decided to have the abdominoplasty.
