It's hard to know how much, I totally understand. At your stage in the
process, I would stick to 1ounce of anything at a time, unless it is drinks
or yogurt or cottage cheese, etc, b/c those just go straight through us. I
used to eat saltines and pnb about 1-2 months post-op. I always ate 2
saltines with 1tbsp lowfat PNB. Pnb can be fattening, but its got protein.
And 2 crackers was enough. i never got "full" with it, but I try
not to eat to my full capacity as well, b/c I don't want to stretch my
stomach. I would also eat 2/3 of an egg around that time, 4oz of yogurt,
ounce of chicken. But you're still early post-op, so try to stick with
soft foods for a while b/c your new pouch still needs to heal. Within a few
months you should be able to eat 2 ounces at a time. I am 7 months post-op
and usually eat 2-3 ounces per meal, but never more than that. If you're
in doubt, just measure everything, and once you feel a slight full
sensation, stop eating, b/c one or two more bites could make you sick!
Goodluck to you!

im about 6 weeks post op and i can usually tolerate anything just as long
as i chew very well and eat very slow. for a snack, i usually have 2 or
three wheat saltines with peanut butter. i am a big fan of PNB pre and post
op. if i have it as a meal, i usually eat about 4 crackers and some yogurt.
good luck!

I'd say 2 crackers with p.b. or cheese, or tuna fish on it for a snack and
4 for a meal. Your doctor should have given you some guidelines, but its
usually around 2-3 oz of food at your stage of solid food, a little more
for softer foods.
