Question:
Can anyone (everyone) recommend a good cookbook?
I'm really getting into this cooking thing...and I'm looking for cookbooks that include nutritional information, and will also work for us post-ops. Thanks a ton! — Tamara K. (posted on January 6, 2003)

I used to see a lady post here a lot that has written a post-op cookbook.
Not sure but her name is something like Victoria Bowen? I know this isnt
much help but maybe someone else will come forward with her name.

hiya. i use online sources like: www.allrecipes.com (my fave, you can scale
recipes by servings, has nutritional contents, print ability, grocery list)
is not "for wls patients" but you can search by ingredient or
theme (high protein for example)
you can also search in yahoo, "recipes gastric bypass" and there
are groups on yahoo and msn devoted to gastric bypass recipes.
i have some on my website (in the "files, recipes" section)

good luck!

Hey -- Let me clarify: I have Victoria's book...I guess I was looking for
more mainstream cookbooks (i.e., maybe a good one from Atkins? for
diabetics?) Again, thanks in advance, all. :)
