Question:
do these capsules disolve in our stomas?
I have a sinus infection and broncitus and doc prescribed amoxacilin. Will the capsules be able to disolve enough? — Tracey M. (posted on January 6, 2003)

You should have no problem with the pills. They should work as usual.
Hope you get well soon!

I had a wound infection after my laparoscopy last October and took
antibiotics in capsule form. I was REALLY strict with the dosage schedule
and took them every 6 hours, even woke up in the middle of the night to
take them. The infection cleared up with no problems. If your infection
doesn't go away after you finish the antibiotics, than it's probably the
Amoxicilian. I've heard that this isn't a very strong antibiotic, and
doesn't usually work for people who have frequent sinus / ear infections.
Good luck and I hope you start feeling better soon.

This medication comes in liquid form. My sons had to take it all the time
for infections as toddlers. Ask for it in liquid form.
