Question:
I was wondering when to have a TT after surgery. How close to my goal ?

I was at my doctor's goal weight for me when I had my TT...140 lbs. I left the hospital weighing 130...4 lbs of skin/tissue and a few lbs of fluids. Right after my TT I felt like I was a brand new wls postie again...and I lost down to less than 120...I actually got down to about 113 and have now rebounded back up to between 119-123. Have a Sparkling Day!! ~CAE~

I am having a tummy tuck on Monday, Dec 23rd. My height is 5'7" and I am actually 9 pounds under my goal. Goal was to get down to 135 pounds. I am now down to 126...YIPEE!!! Not sure what I will be after my tummy tuck. I started at 230, so total lost is 104 pounds so far. Charts say I should be somewhere around 147...NOT!! I am sooooo happy being a size 4-6. Will let you know how I do after my tummy tuck. :)

I was 10 pounds over my goal weight. I lost 5 pounds of skin/tissue but with all the fluid they pump into you, I actually GAINED 5 pounds the day after surgery!! Of course, within a couple of weeks, I lost 10 pounds so it all evens out.
