mulit-grain toast. Lunch - 4 ounces of bean soup with two wheat crackers.
Supper - probably tuna salad or yogurt. I may even squeeze in some popcorn

I'm just over 6 months post op. For breakfast I had a small bowl of chili.
For lunch I ate a budget gourmet dinner, don't remember what it was
called...something with meatballs. For dinner I ate a little bit of steak,
and a bit of baked potato and a few carrots. I drink water all day and had
some of that new Folger's Cafe Latte coffee about mid morning that made me
dump---and I thought I wasn't a dumper! *6 mo post lap rny down to 150

Upon waking: 4 oz. orange juice w/ my vitamin c and iron tablets. Then I
shower and do the morning hair & makeup thing. Before leaving for work
I either eat oatmeal, Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal, a Blue Bunny Lite 85
yogurt, or a No Sugar Added Carnation Instant Breakfast. Then once at work
I start on my water - 20 to 40 oz. by lunchtime (sometimes a 20 oz. bottle
of water and a large cup of peppermint tea, herbal and no
caffeine...sometimes just 2-20 oz. bottles of water). For lunch I have
either a small Lunchables w/ the cheese and meat and only 2 or 3 of the
crackers, or soup or chili. For an afternoon snack I usually have some
multigrain Wheat Thins or microwave popcorn. Supper is whatever I make for
the boyfriend and I...I just eat protein first and always! and only 2 or 3
bites of potato if we have it, as well as a small serving of a vegetable.
For a night time snack I'll have a Blue Bunny bar with Splenda (either
fudge bar or popsicle). Lately I've added a 30g protein shake, substituting
it for either breakfast or my bedtime snack. Good Luck! - Anna LAP RNY

Typically day for me is: BREAKFAST: 1 Scoop Isopure Protein Powder, 1 scoop
Carb Solutions protein powder, 1 TBS liquid Calcium, Magnesium and D, 1
Women's Muti with Iron and Calcium and 2 Vitamin C tablet in the blender
with either 1 TBS of Sweet 'n Low Strawberry Syrup or a 1/3 packet of sugar
free/fat free cocoa mix. Add a couple of ice cubes and that's breakfast.
24oz of water on the way to work. 1 Cup of decaf coffee with Splenda and 1
packet of light cream. (30 min's later -12oz water) LUNCH: Salad greens
(.5 cup) with an oz. of canned tuna (no mayo) or grilled chicken, hard
boiled egg (white only), typical salad veggies (tomatoes, cukes, peppers),
kidney or black beans (about a TBS), 4 croutons, 2 cubes of cheese and
light dressing. Somedays I can eat almost all of it and somedays I can
only eat some of it. (30 min's later -12 oz Water) AFTERNOON SNACK: If I
don't eat much at lunch, I will have a .5 serving of Glenny's Soy Crisps (
55 Cals, 1 fat, 6 Carb and 4.5 protein) (30 min's later 12oz water or
crystal light) DINNER: 1-2 oz meat, chicken or fish, couple of pieces of
a veggie and, if there is still room, maybe a bite or two of potato. Once
in a blue moon, I will have some microwave popcorn for a snack at night,
but I am rarely hungry after dinner. However, if I had a good food and
water day I will have a glass of de-fizzed soda at night. The last thing I
have is a .25 cup of skim milk with the rest of my meds before bed. Let
me stress that this is a "typical" day. However, I have days
just like everyone else where I make make a poorer food choice (had fried
clams last week) or don't get in enough water. But, I beleive that makes
me human! :-)
