YES! I too heard about this a few months ago. They somehow took out most of the carbs and substituted with PROTEIN!! Here is a website where you can order. One serving (50 grams or 1.8 oz) has the following: 170 calories 1.2 g fat 6.3 g carbs 0.3 sugars 32 grams protein 1 box with two servings is $6.99. If anyone orders it please let us know how it is! http://www.lowcarbnexus.com/Item_PDP1.htm

I am in Michigan and have seen the pasta in a grocery store. I haven't tried it "yet". It was in a meijers store. I beleive it is under Atkins, on the pasta isle, but not with all the other pasta's, by the specialty pastas. Stacey

I have heard about this but they seem pretty pricey. One thing I found at our local grocery store is pasta with soy protein in it. I think the numbers were pretty good on it at 15 or 20 grams for a cup. Now I know we aren't going to eat a cup of the stuff, but I load mine with meat sauce and lots of cheese so the extra 5-10 grams would be a good boost. Right now I eat whole wheat pasta for the fiber and am liking it pretty well. I can't even tell the difference with spaghetti and lasagna!

Hi, if you go to this site:http://www.lowcarbmart.com/pasta.html they have low carb pasta. This site is less expensive than the main site. I am planning on ordering some. I love pasta!

While trying Atkins, we bought some of the lo-carb pasta and it was awful! We cooked it per the directions and tested the pasta before draining, it was still tough. Cooked it 5 min more and drained it....still very tough. They use soy flour/protein instead of wheat flour, that's what reduces the carbs. Our opinion was that it is tough, tasteless, and very expensive. We are major pasta lovers, but I'd rather do without than eat this stuff!

I've tried the low-carb/no-carb pasta's: Keto Pasta--was just awful! You can only "cook" the noodles for 2-3 minutes or they just fall apart. The taste is bland...I thought it was like soggy packing peanuts! Due Amici Pasta Lite--is alot better tasting although it does have an odd smell (sort of like strong vitamins) but cover it with sauce and cheese and its pretty darn good. I found it at Meijer's in Michigan for $4.99. There is a low-carb website that does product spotlighting: www.lowcarbluxury.com

Although I am still pre-op I have been on/off Atkin's diet for over 3 years. The very low-carb/no-carb pasta's,bread's, etc. are awful (and extremely expensive!). What I did find and like are the "whole wheat" pasta's many groceries have in their Organic sections (at a fraction of the price). These do have carb's, but are full of fiber and some protein. They have a denser, heavier texture, but they taste pretty good. I found that they didn't knock me out of losing any weight when I ate them reasonablly.

I bought low carb pasta at Meijer in Michigan and it tasted awful. Cardboard would've tasted better - truly. The other thing: I got massive cramps and diarrhea, so I guess it's from all that soy. It's loaded with protein, but even at that I had to throw it out. Dreadful stuff!

Low cal pasta does not sound realistic. You might try spagetti squash - cook it and then open and scoop out the contests- it looks like spagetti! Douse it with sauce and a little parm. I used it several times and then burned out - guess it is time to try again.
