PROTEIN SHAKE FOR BREAKFAST
IF I HAVE A PROTEIN SHAKE FOR BREAKFAST, CAN I START MY WATER RIGHT AFTER OR SHOULD I WAIT THE 30-45 MINS? I AM NOT SURE IF THE SHAKES ARE CONSIDERED "FOOD" OR LIQUID WITH NUTRITION. THANKS! — Sandra C. (posted on July 21, 2002)

If you're filing them up with extra calories, like bananas and other
solids, they're "food". If they're just water & ice (or
flavoring), they're more of a beverage. I usually just give it a 5-10 min
head start and then proceed with water.
