I go to a website that I saw listed here....calorieking.com
and it is wonderful! It will give you the breakdown of 1000's of different
foods, and also includes many, many restaurants as well!

Just for starters, one cup of milk and yogurt has 8 grams, 1 ounce of meat
has 7 grams. That's from my nutritionist. :)

I agree with Ann. FitDay.com has helped me so much! You plug in what you
ate, how much of it, and it keeps track of what all you have eaten broken
down into calories, carbs, fat & protein. I love the pie chart that
shows me how much protein I've eaten. Give it a shot! :o)

I bought a booklet of protein counts at a bookstore. It also lists
calories, carbs and fats. It was cheap and always nearby when I am out or
not near the computer.

A general rule of thumb is that for every ounce of protein (in volume) you
eat you take in 7 grams.
Fish and seafood have around 25-35 calories/oz. Chicken and lean pork have
about 35-45 calories/oz, and beef around 45-60 calories/oz. Eggs are about
70 calories (they usually are 1 1/2 to 2 oz each) and cheese is about 70
calories/oz.
Hope this helps.
