I tried the liquid protein from GNC and couldn't get past the smell. I thought it smelled like bad cough medicine. I do use the Proteinex. I put 2 tbls into my OJ for 15 grams of protein and you can't taste it or smell it. I use it twice a day for 30 grams of ptrotein.

I use vita 4 life liquid protein. It has less than a trace of sugar, etc. and is 30 gm. of protein per packet. I mix in my 20 oz. water bottle: 17 oz. water + 1 packet of liquid protein + top it off with flat-diet-orange-soda pop. Often I do this 2x day = 60 gm. protein plus what foods I eat :-)

I believe the portion is 3 TB, I always use 4TB to push the grams to about 24, I have put it in as little as 4 oz of water, I usually put it in Diet Cranberry Raspberry Snapple. I was told that whey is a better choice for portein, but I started on this product, and keep it around for variety.

Challenge liquid protein is a lifesaver for me! I have tried everything else and it is the only thing I can tolerate. You can drink it straight but it seems pretty thick that way. I usually mix mine with enough water so it tastes like watered down koolaid. Just an interesting side note, there have been many articles lately written about the benefits of amino acids on weight loss. I have two friends that have not had surgery but were looking to lose some weight. They started the liquid protein and while their weight loss has been slow, they are really losing the inches!
