Hi am not a post op patient yet but I heard you can use tylenol products. I
know they make a tylenal cold medicines. It should be ok as long as you
make double sure that it has no asprin in it. that tends to irrate the
stomach. Also don't buy the pill form of the medicine stay with liquid
verision's. you may have to take the childrens liquid meds. good luck hope
I helped you

The liquid Tylenol is too nasty for me so I take Junior Strength Tylenol in
the soft chews. For allergies I take children's Benedryl which comes in a
melt in your mouth pill form. It also doesn't make me drowsy like regular
Bendryl. Both seem to work just fine for me.

So, far what I have heard the other 2 post post on here is correct. If you
visit my profile I have a list of all the permitted over the counter
medications once someone has had this surgery. Good luck and I hope you
can get your allergies under control.

I spoke with my dr's ofc yesterday. They told me the ONLY thing we can't
take because of our WLS are NSAIDS (Ibuprofen / etc - anti inflammatory
drugs). They said we can pretty much take ANYTHING else we need.
