Question:
Has anyone in Ohio dealt with Dr. Eisengart for a tummy tuck?

My PCP referred me to Dr. Eisengart (in the Cleveland area) for a tummy tuck, but I'm not really sure what I think of him. He has no pictures to show you any before and after shots of any tummy tucks he has done and he also said that he does not deal with liposuction at all. I have friends that have had tummy tucks and the liposuction was included with both. If anyone has had any work done by Dr. Eisengart, please let me know your results and opinion of him. Thank you! Is he a plastic surgeon? If so, I would be VERY concerned that he doesn't have before and after pictures to show you. Also, I can't imagine why he wouldn't do liposuction at all and why he wouldn't do your legs. I think I would go back to my PCP and ask him to recommend 3 or 4 different plastic surgeons and go and check them out. Something sounds very odd with this doctor if that's what he's telling you and I wouldn't let him touch me.

I had a panniculectomy and the doc who did it did not do lipo either. I had and eval by Eisengart 7/8/2004 and he was excellent. He is the best doctor I have ever dealt with in giving detailed information. I didn't have to ask him anything. He was awesome. I was refered to him by a friend who had a breast reduction. They turned out really nice and she is extremely happy with them. She would not shut up about him or them. I am waiting on my approval now. My hernia came back so he is also going to fix that. I still have a rather large stomach (in my opinion). So he is going to fix that while he is doing the hernia repair.
