Hi, I am 6 wks post-op and just had my first bout with vomiting. I was eating scrambled eggs & cheese for breakfast and I was in a big hurry because my father was on his way over to my house to do some plumbing. Because I was in a hurry I forget about eating slow and chewing well. I didn't chew enough and a piece of egg got stuck. I ended up vomiting it up. I'm just thankful that I didn't eat too much to begin with so it wasn't too bad. But I still don't want that to happen again. I don't know how those of you who vomit alot can deal with it. I would be afraid to eat anything if it kept happening with me. Well, I just wanted to make that comment. (Don't think I'll be eating scrambled eggs again anytime soon either). — Peggy D. I agree with you Peggy. I've vomited once and is scared to death of it
happening again. Good luck to you.(wls 4-29-02)

Very good comment for newly post-ops :) I'm almost 8 months out and have
never thrown up (I just get really queazy in dumping) except when I have
swallowed too big of a bite, swallowed a bite not chewed well enough, or
ate too fast. It's a hard lesson to learn, but it DOES sink in eventually
