Question:
Can anyone suggest a good cookbook, website or a book that has meal plans for WLS?
Does anyone know of any of these that has meal plans or even recipes specifically for WLS patients? Kind of like a weight watchers but for WLS? Whether it is a book, website etc. Thanks! — Allison T. (posted on May 14, 2002)

Go to Victoria Bowen's profile, she is fabulous! She gives us recipes for
free on the message board and sells a wonderful WLS recipe cookbok on her
website. Also, I havr modified several recipes myself by using low fat,
splenda versions of whatever it calls for, also egg beaters take the place
of eggs, use prune puree or applesauce in place of oil in baked goods
etc... I still dont eat enough to care too much about cooking but I love to
modify!

I use a web site that is high in protein and low in carbs. I use a lot of
recipes from there.

I too love Victoria Bowen's cookbook and free recipes - if you read her
profile...she's truly just an inspiration. I have tried 3 of her recipes
so far and I l-l-l-love them !
They've obviously worked for her so I know they must be good.
