Question:
Can anyone recommend a good Vitamin C supplement.
Hi Everyone, I am on the usual, Multi Chewables, B-12, and Calcium, but I would like to add some additional vitamin C. Can anyone recommend a good one? Thanks. — Tammy B. (posted on May 3, 2002)

I take a chewable vitamin c that I love, since I crave citrus! GNC makes a
good one, but they are spendy... lately I just get one at Target that is
just as good and WAY less expensive. Also, if you make smooties, try
putting in a half cup of fresh squeezed OJ... it's a great source!

Tammy, if you really want to get in a good amount of Vitamin C here's what
to buy.GNC doesn't carry it but Walmart does and most your ma and pop
health food stores carry this Super Energy Booster drink called EMER'gen-C.
It is a fizzzing Vitamin C drink in little packets. it is loaded with C
(1,000 mg) it also has 32 mineral complexes. It has potassium,B6,
B-12,folic acid. It comes in a box of 35 in many flavors. Very low sugar,3
grams. Limon lime is very good. The price per box can be anywhere from 6.99
to 9.99. Walmart carries it but they sell out all the time and I gave up
trying to buy them there. All you do is mix the packet in 4 or 6 oz of
water. Try this and I think you will be extremely happy !!! Best of Luck!!

I have a really hard time taking the chewable Vit. C. because the fruity
taste reminds me of all the Gatorade I drank the first 2 weeks....Yuck!
Hall's Vit.C drops are a lifesaver. Don't forget to take your iron with
the C for best absorption.
