Question:
Anyone have post op pics from a Lap procedure?

I've looked all over, but can't find any post op pics where the procedure was done lap. I would appreciate anyone directing me to some pics.    — rhonda2u (posted on March 31, 2002)

Rhonda, I don't have any pics, but I can tell you that after my lap RNY I had six 1/2" incisions scattered across my upper abdomen, covered with little strips of tape....no external sutures or staples. Now, 26 months later, I can't find those incisions at all, no matter how hard I look :-) Good luck!

If you go to my profile, then click on my website address you will find pictures of my 2-day post-op belly. (blech!) I have 5 incisions. One is completely healed and little more than a cat scratch, the other 4 still have scabs on them. I am hoping to have a new picture of them having healed soon.

9 months out my marks are small red areas. no scar. My wife Jen 4 months out has tiny cat scratches, no red marks. I was diabetic and my incisions healed slow. Or likely I would have NO red marks.

I also have 5 very small 1" scars, but I'd rather weigh 115 w/ the 5 tiny scars. then be obese with no scars, either way, I won't be wearing a bikini!
