Question:
What is the difference between dry vitamin E and the vitamin E oil?
Is one better than the other for post-ops and why? I am 50 years old. It seems that the vitamin E oil would be better for my skin's elasticity as I lose weight but I've read suggestions that post ops take the dry vitamin E. Any insight would be appreciated. — Jeanne R. (posted on March 2, 2002)

I believe it is the fact that we no longer absorb fats and oils like
before. So, if you take the Vit. E in oil form, it will just go right on
through. You are better off with the dry form and will better absorb it.

I thought you needed to take vitamin E with a little fat or you won't
absorb it.

Shelley: perfect! :-)
That and dry E is now known to be better absorbed by normies, too. Same
logic, if they COULD get it out of their food, they WOULD.
