Question:
MD - Has anyone recently had a TT w/ Dr Marcus of Sil Spring?

The info i recvd states that i must get a note from my PCP stating that i have been treated for months for rashed due to the panni. I do not have rashes though i do have a large panni. I have a hernia and would love to have a TT done but my Dr office will not send for ins. approval without this. What do I do?    — [Anonymous] (posted on January 15, 2002)

For a TT, you really should be seeing a plastic surgeon, not a general surgeon. Even though alot of surgeons are now doing TT's you will have much better results seeing a plastic surgeon (this is their specialty after all!) Good luck to you, Dana
