Question:
How about egg beaters?

I am almost 9 months post op and am 5 pounds below my goal weight. I am looking to find foods that I can eat to stop my weight loss. Breakfast is my worst meal. Pre-op I loved eggs!! However, I can no longer tolerate them. I was wondering if others who could not eat eggs any longer, have had any success with egg beaters? Are they easier to tolerate and digest? I just had my first visit with my surgeon. He said now Egg Beaters are what he tells his patients to eat. He says because of cholestrol and this way you get the taste of an egg and not just egg whites if you have to watch your chol.....they taste pretty good!!!!

EggBeaters and Better'n Eggs are almost 99% egg whites, a good way to add protein, and they're good, and they even have the right color. I have also used Just Whites, they taste fine if you don't mind the color and they are cheaper.

Shelly congrats on your success!!! Have you tried increasing your carbs? Maybe you could try a bagel or hashbrowns for breakfast. If you stick to proteins like you have been you probably will continue to lose . . . What a problem to have! Good luck and don't get too skinny!
