Can I drink sweet tea, but using splenda to sweeten it?

I have been drinking sweet tea the past couple of days. I've been substituting the sugar with splenda. Is this ok, or should I cut it out all together. I usually don't ever drink tea, and I'm almost 7 months post-op. Also what about eating Club House fat free crackers? I brought some to work today in case I got hungry for a snack. I ate four crackers today with cheese.
