One year diet, my medicle group wants one year diet. Are people getting approved

after doing this? My insurane pays for WLS but they have some kind of "agreement" with the medical group to make all patients go through this one year diet with a progam called "Shapes" maybe it's "Shape-up". Anybody approved after having to go through this or will it be just another diet program they hope I will drop out of and forget WLS? thanks, terrie
