The post-op nausea is getting me down. Ideas?

I'm nearly four weeks post-op. For the past ten days I've suffered from severe nausea about 60% of the time. I'm unable to consume much; the sight of food and drink even bothers me. Dr. prescribed Compazine, but it hasn't helped. I know this probably won't last too long, but I wanted some ideas about how to get through this.
