I take my BCPs faithfully, could I still be pregnant?

I take my birth control pills everyday faithfully, have not skipped a pill. The last pack was changed from Ortho Novum 777 to Ortho tricycline. Now my period is late (I always start the Tuesday after the last active pill on Saturday). Well, no show. I've noticed pimples (yet they say ortho tricycline is supposed to stop pimples) and sore breasts. I'm also retaining fluid. Has any one here gotten pregnant taking oral contraceptives? Tinky 471 -112# 30# from goal.
