Is it possible for someone who has had the RNY and transected to be revised to a DS?

Is it possible to be revised to a DS after already having the RNY (transected). My stoma is wide open and I have not lost any weight for a long time - I am actually starting to gain now. I can eat a lot at one time and only dump on some milk products (ice cream , cereal with milk). My surgeon just told me to diet and exercise. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.
