Has any one waited for an approval thru thier state medicaid for more than 6 mos

Has any one waited for an approval thru thier state medicaid program for more than 6 months? My request for approval went in on 8/08/02 and I am still waiting...others have gotten thiers and being at a lower weight and less comorbidities then I and have gotten thier approval's within a 1-2 week period!Please anyone email me and let me know how long you have waited! I calld our DHS in Springfield,IL. And no one could tell me anything!
