surgery 2 years ago able to eat large amounts of food, whats wrong?

As early as two months after surgery I was concerned that something was not right. At that time, I was able to eat almost 2 soft tacos from taco bell in a very short amount of time. I addressed this concern with the nutritionist that my surgeon assigned to me, but she said that it was normal. I was never instructed to return to my surgeon for follow-ups so I have not seen him since they removed the tube two weeks after surgery. I have seen a few terms such as steching of the opening or break in the staple line. Are ether of these possibilities?
