anyone in pittsburgh area having trouble with upmc insurance authorization?

i was told they were very quick and almost always approved authorization with no hassle, but they seem to have set new guidelines. They have asked me for additional weight loss history info (above and beyond my original copies), now they can't seem to locate what has been faxed over. they verified they recieved the same fax that is missing last thursday.... is anyone else having a problem with them? My surgeon is dr. schauer in pittsburgh....
