Weird sensation with abdominoplasty...a little help please...

I am 16 months post-op open RNY (-164.5). Last Friday I had abdominoplasty to remove the excess skin. They removed 6 pounds and 19 inches of skin. Lovely... Now, I'm 8 days post-op and the hip to hip incision and "new" belly button don't hurt, but they feel tingly. It's almost like the whole area was "asleep" for a week and now it's waking up. It's a burny, uncomfortable feeling. Is this just my skin and nerve endings coming back to life? I really feel absoulutely fine overall. My drains are only draining about 15 cc a day and I haven't taken a pain pill in four days. Just wanted an opinion on the sensation I am feeling...Thanks
