Do I stay in an unhappy job for my surgery?

I got pulled into a meeting today informing me that one of the ladies in our department is transferring to another, and it will now be my obligation, along with another to split her work. This includes doing "billing" from 2-5. I will not be receiving a pay raise, just more stress. I have been getting so sick, and have missed a lot of work, so now they are angry with me. We are swtiching from Pac Care PPO to Blue Cross starting March 1. Currently Pacific Care has made it clear, they do not want to approve me. I have an oppertunity to find a new job, nort sure with which ins, though. Here is my question: Should I take this oppertunity to quit, or stay for the ins. ??
