My appeal letter was denied.....

but no one at the insurance company can tell me exactly why... the only thing that I have been told is that after their doctor reviewd the request he said I didn't meet the criteria either... I have asked to speak with a supervisor (who happens to always be on the phone or away from her desk) so get some answers but have gotten no where. I must say thought that the insurance representatives that I have spoken too have been very nice.. just not well informed. So my question is two fold.. what do I do now? Or should I do nothing? My insurance carrier will change to United Health Care Select Premium HMO on January 1, 2001.. should I just let Blue Choice "win" or should I fight them to the end?? Has anyone else had any luck with United Health Care? I am reallllly nervous about this.. I am afraid they will turn me down too! Please send me your comments ;) Audra
