Do you gain weight on the pill? Does it hamper our Weight Loss?
I need some help and input please. Ok here is the scoop. In September I went in for my annual "woman thang" and the doc put me on the pill. Background, I'm 42 and never been on it as I've had a time getting pregnant at 400 lbs. So for the first time in 21 years I was put on the pill. The whole month of Sept while taking the "pill" I felt bloated and full and so I didn't take it in October. My husband and I have been talking and pregnancy would be ok (we have three adopted kids) but not now. I'm 42 years old, 231 lbs. Still want to lose more and have a panni. It was great knowing when my period was going to be while on it I admit. I have been told that you gain a lot of weight on the pill?? Is that true?? Anyone on it? Vicki's article about the pill scared me too. HELP!! I need input. The pill they have me on is Triphasyl I think is how its spelled. I really need input. Other "means" are not really an option unless you mean abstinence and well that's not an option either :) haha I mean hey I'm 231 lbs..and things are "better" if ya know what I mean :) haha BLUSH Denise Open RNY 11/8/99 Dr. Ferrari - NeWeigh Houston, TX Starting Weight 400 lbs Down 169 lbs.
