Has anybody had trouble taking their vitamins?

I am 1 week post-op, and having a very hard time stomaching my chewable vitamin. If I don't take it immediatly after I fill my stomach I get nauseated. Not to mention the taste. It is enough to make me gag. At this moment I'm taking flintstone chewables. Does anybody have any suggestions or been through this also?
