Has anyone had RNY with lympedema and gotten relief from swelling of feet and legs?

I have lympedema as well as amyloidosis (affects my kidneys) and hope to have surgery in Dec. or January. Wondered if anyone else had this affliction and how the loss of weight helped the terrible swelling of feet and legs.
