I have two dime size painful knots on the top of my incision any ideas?

I am 17 months out and lost 170 lbs. I have recently discovered two dime size very painful knots on the top of my incision. I have an appt. with my doc in a week but I would like to get an ideas what it might be from you all. They do not bulge out. They are red and hurt like h***. At first I thought they were boils but they have not changed just getting more painful....to the point I cannot stand to bend over. I checked the library but nothing seems to match my symptons. (open RNY 2-23-02, 170 lost, Weight 147)
