Has anyone had so much sinus drainage that medication isn't helping?

I have alot of sinus drainage and my PCP put me on Clariton D and that's not helping. I even take Advil Cold and Sinus in between. It causes me to gag and have the dry heaves everyday. Sometimes I can get some of it out but as soon as I do it seems like there is a gallon more. Also sometimes when I spit this stuff out there is blood in it. Not alot but some. Should I be worried about this or is this coming from my throat and sinus cause they are irritated. I don't throw up any food it's always the heaves and nothing else. I would appriciate your input.
